Frequently asked questions

LABBEH is an independent community initiative, not a health or government body. Blood donation takes place through accredited health providers.

Is LABBEH an official body?

No. It’s an independent community initiative — not a medical body or a government platform — and isn’t affiliated with the Ministry of Health, any blood bank, or any business.

Can I donate? How do I know if I’m eligible?

Eligibility is decided by licensed healthcare staff at the donation center. Read the Ministry of Health guidance and book through Sehhaty.

Do you book appointments or organize donation drives?

No. We don’t book appointments, organize drives, or announce shortages or emergencies. All of that goes through licensed health providers.

Why don’t you publish every offer businesses announced?

Blood donation should be voluntary and unpaid, and conditional rewards can affect donor safety. Past announcements appear only as a sourced record; current support appears after business confirmation and healthcare review.

Do you ask for proof of donation or health data?

Never. We don’t ask for donation certificates, ID numbers, medical history or blood type, and we never send such data to any business.

What’s your relationship with Muteb Alarifi?

His initiative inspired us and we thank him for it, but there’s no official relationship: he didn’t found the site, doesn’t run it, and it doesn’t represent him.

I spotted something inaccurate. What should I do?

We correct mistakes transparently and remove ended offers quickly. Contact us through the For businesses form with the link and the correction.

How do you handle my data?

Business form data is private and seen only by the review team to contact you. We don’t store raw IP addresses, and we don’t sell or share data. Your map location stays on your device. We use Simple Analytics — cookieless, privacy-first — to count visits anonymously, honoring Do Not Track.
